I’ll keep this simple, because that’s how I’d want it explained to me.
This website is run by me, Dr. Dan Lancaster, for Christian Book Coaching. When you reach out or sign up here, you’re trusting me with a little of your information. Here’s exactly what I collect, why, and what I will — and won’t — do with it.
What I collect
- When you fill out the contact form, I collect your first name, your email address, and whatever you choose to tell me about your book.
- If you sign up to receive The Lightkeeper Path or other emails, I collect your name and email address so I can send them to you.
- Like most websites, this one automatically logs basic technical information — such as your browser type and general location — to help keep the site secure and running properly.
Why I collect it
- To read your note and write back to you personally.
- To send you the free resource or the emails you asked for.
- To keep the website running and safe.
That’s all. I don’t collect anything I don’t need.
What I will never do
I will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Your name, your email, and the things you share about your book are not for sale — not now, not ever.
Who else sees your information
To run the site and send email, I rely on a few trusted service providers — for example, my website host and my email service. They only handle your information so that this site and its emails can work, and they aren’t permitted to use it for anything else.
Email — and unsubscribing
If you join my email list, every message I send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off the list, no hard feelings. You’re always in control.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to show you what information I have about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Just email me at dan@christianbookcoaching.com and I’ll take care of it.
Children
This site is meant for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If I ever change how I handle your information, I’ll update this page, and any changes will be posted right here.
